OUR REACH AND IMPACT
GROWTH OF LEARNERS ON OUR PLATFORM
Free learner access to our online practice has resulted in excellent year-on-year growth in the number of learners registering and using the platform to support their learning in Mathematics and Physical Sciences. We had our millionth lifetime sign up in December 2021, and we served our 100 millionth question in August 2022.

Sponsored access to Siyavula Practice has resulted in an exponential number of learners registering and using the platform to support their learning in Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
With free learner access to our adaptive practice service, we are seeing excellent year-on-year growth with our 1 millionth lifetime sign up in Dec 2021 (over 350 000 sign ups in 2022). We also served our 100 millionth lifetime question in August of 2022 (almost 33 million questions in 2022). Over 30% of our lifetime questions were served to South African learners in 2022.
If they have access to a high level passive monitoring system, they will actively encourage usage through their district officials. Consistent district-level messaging is the primary lever driving growth in South Africa and requires free learner access.

A TEACHER SUPPORT PROGRAMME IN GAUTENG
Through a partnership with the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Siyavula has deployed its practice platform at 40 government high schools in Gauteng, to reach more than 17 000 students. Aimed at increasing maths engagement, the project supports teachers to adopt Siyavula into their teaching, Siyavula’s powerful data provides teachers with valuable performance data that allows them to track learning outcomes at their schools.
